Married With Kids?

No matter how hard we try, we cannot compartmentalize our lives.

As a family unit we are connected.

When children are young it may seem easier to hide stresses from them, but there are always undercurrents that will be felt.

And when you are navigating challenges in your marriage with older children and even young adults still under your roof, everyone will be affected.

There will be things your children are going through that can affect your marriage; struggles with their true identity, relationships, depression, addictions, differing opinions on discipline, differing choices for their future, differing opinions on financial commitments to their endeavors, all of these can cause a disconnection in your relationship with your spouse.

Likewise, going through things as a couple; relationship challenges, money issues, differing spiritual opinions, differing political opinions, extended family issues, mental health or physical challenges, will affect your children.

This is why I so value coming alongside women to serve their MARRIAGE and their MOTHERHOOD, because the two are intrinsically joined.
