Ever Felt Like the Only Thing You Can Do is Pray? Me, too! And Praise God!

As moms of adult children we can either worry for them or war over them 🙏🏻🙌🏻

From the moment we learn that our children are growing in the womb, the temptation to worry rears its head. 

As a woman, that knowledge becomes the first thing you think of upon waking and the last thing before falling asleep. 

Both of my kids are grown now, but whether they are 9 weeks old or 29, the enemy will try to tempt us with worry.

Aren’t you so glad God gave us an ALTERNATE way to live?

When we became mothers we entered into a COVENANT with God! 

The PRIVILEGE of PRAYER over our children can set THEM and US FREE from FEAR, CONCERN, and ALL WORRY!

It is a privilege that is NEVER taken from us, no matter how old our children get we are NEVER released from it!

We are truly the ONLY ONES who have the authority given to us by God and we can set His plans and protection in motion as we declare His words over our kids.

Once we raise them, we are released from controlling and managing their every move (Praise God we no longer have that responsibility!).

If you’re not sure where to begin, start feeding on a few verses daily to build your faith (because faith comes only by hearing and hearing God’s word).

And then spend time declaring them over your children. 

The more we feed on the Word and get it so deep down in our hearts, when the temptation to worry arises, the Word will rise, too, and cause peace to flood our hearts. 

When the enemy comes against us, the Word will raise a standard against him, Amen? 

We are to answer those thoughts with God’s words! 

Just like Jesus when He was in the wilderness of temptation, He modeled for us that when the enemy tries to bring thoughts that are not in line with God’s word, He answered him! 

We know that life and death are in the power of the tongue. He has already given us the right things to say…HIS words! Amen?
