We know the Word says in Proverbs 23:7 “For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
If we believe that this verse is TRUE, it proves how POWERFUL our OWN THOUGHTS really are!
And that the results we are currently having in how we experience our own life are more in our control than we originally thought.
Only WE can make OURSELVES a VICTIM!
We no longer have to be a victim of our circumstances because we know that the circumstances are out of our control.
As well as how others decide to act toward us.
If we know that OUR THOUGHTS generate OUR FEELINGS and OUR FEELINGS drive OUR ACTIONS thus giving us OUR RESULTS of OUR LIFE EXPERIENCE, then it is also true about OTHERS.
How others respond is due to THEIR own thoughts and feelings which drive THEIR actions.
But we can feel peace in how we handle ANY situation in our lives, from conflict in marriage to dealing with the frustrations of living in a house with messy children.
We can allow and process our emotions.
Release stress.
Renew our minds.
Which will generate feelings that cause us to: show up as the HIGHEST, MOST LOVING version of ourselves in EVERY RELATIONSHIP. ❤
We must always remember to ask ourselves, “What am I thinking?”
Whenever we aren’t experiencing PEACE, we know that we’ve stepped away from GOD’S THOUGHTS about us AND OTHERS.
And WE are responsible for creating what we are currently experiencing!
The Word instructs us to “examine our thoughts” but how often are we doing it? We are supposed to be recognizing the thoughts that are keeping us STUCK.
***This is the power of having a coach on your side. Someone who is a trained “thought-watcher” who is looking for the thought beneath the thought that might be holding you back from living FREE.
If we don’t first recognize the wrong thoughts, how will we know where to renew our minds with the RIGHT THOUGHTS, God’s thoughts, so we can live TRANSFORMED LIVES?
