We don’t invest in coaching because we think it will change those around us, it will most definitely have ripple effects, but we do it because it’s a great way to LOVE ourselves.
If the only two things Jesus commands us to do are to love God and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves, then learning how to love others well will require that we start by receiving God’s love for us and loving ourselves well.
In loving ourselves well, we do give those around us the greatest gift by showing up in so much unconditional love. Especially when they are struggling to love themselves and others well, it will create the safest place for them to grow into the highest most loving version of themselves.
