Are You Holding On?

In order for our faith to be sure and firm, it must be rooted in a FINISHED WORK of CHRIST.

This week I’ve been reflecting on ALL that Jesus did for us.

How He willingly went to the cross to endure all sin and sickness on OUR behalf.

If you are a parent and have ever had a sick child in your midst, how often we would think we would much rather take it in their place.

That’s the heart of the Father in us!

And that was His heart, too!

He laid it all on Jesus.

He sacrificed His precious Son so that the rest of His children could be FREE!

And not once they get to heaven, because there is NO sickness there.

But so that we could enjoy TOTAL HEALTH and FREEDOM from pain right here on earth so we are not hindered from doing all that we want to do in serving Him and others.

I think many are waiting for God to do something that He’s ALREADY DONE.

Jesus cannot go back to the cross.

Once was enough.

We must now RENEW our MINDS with the truth that WHOLENESS is ALREADY ours (it’s not something we are trying to get God to give us) and see clearly that the enemy (who only comes to STEAL, KILL, and DESTROY John 10:10) is only trying to snatch from us what is LEGALLY OURS to enjoy.

If someone came to your house to try to break in and steal what is yours would you open the door and just allow him to take your children, or valuables? NO. You wouldn’t just hand them over. You’d hold on because by right they belong to you.

So, I encourage you today to stand up and say, NO! I will not relinquish what my Father has given me! I AM healed and whole because the Word tells me that “By His stripes I WAS HEALED and therefore I AM HEALED!

We overcome by the BLOOD of the Lamb and the word of our TESTIMONY!

You don’t need a doctor’s report to tell you that you are healed, you have something GREATER, the Word of God, and the LESSER report must eventually come in line with the GREATER one.

The healing blood has already been applied so we are authorized to DECLARE with our mouth and TESTIFY of its SAVING, HEALING, AND KEEPING POWER in our lives!
