Motherhood, at any stage, is not for the faint of heart.
Whether you have little ones, teens, or adult children, you never get a day off of being a mom, am I right?
Even when you get the rare opportunity to get away from the normal everyday responsibilities, your children are never absent from your heart.
From the moment we have knowledge that we are going to become a mother, the enemy loves to lord fear over us.
When the thoughts of something happening to our children are not trying to pry their way into our brains, the devil will try the angle of shaming us with all the ways we are showing up inadequately.
You may think, “I know I’m a good mom. I know I love my children. But I still feel miserable some days.”
From the noise level to the constant mess-making, I want you to know that your children are not causing your misery.
All of our EMOTIONS are created by our THOUGHTS.
Sometimes the thoughts are so fast and unconscious (because our brains are created for efficiency) that it doesn’t seem true that WE are CREATING misery for ourselves, but trust me, it’s true…ASK ME HOW I KNOW 😉
