Are You In The Empty Nest and Not Sure What To Do Next?

Are you currently in the “empty nest” or soon approaching it and not sure what you’ll do next?

First, let me just say, that’s not a problem.

Our brains like to create so much drama and panic and make that fact a problem.

But it’s not.

Maybe you’re like me and it’s not YOU who is worried about that fact, but rather it’s your spouse.

Years ago, my husband was going through a crisis and he began to question every part of his life.

He wasn’t sure what our relationship would be like once our kids were grown.

While his primary thought was a negative, “What are we going to do when the kids move out?” my thought was, “It’s going to be great once the kids move out! We’ll be able to do whatever we want and go on whatever adventures we’d like!”

Isn’t it amazing how different our brains can be and how each of our FEELINGS is created by our THOUGHTS?

I’ve heard many mamas talk about how sad they are (or will be) once their children are grown.

They talk about the days of child rearing as “the best days” but I honestly think that’s a ploy of the enemy to keep them stuck in grief and not moving forward into EVERYTHING God has planned for them!

Some mamas have big regrets about how they raised their children and how they “turned out”, while some mamas feel peace about how they raised their children and can’t seem to see how any other season of life could be as wonderful.

And I’m here to tell you that I can help you with BOTH!

If you find yourself in MIDLIFE and feel ready to throw in the towel, I am here to encourage you that you have FOUR PLUS DECADES left to DO GREAT THINGS!!!

NOW is the PERFECT TIME to REFIRE!

It’s a season like no other where there is a new sense of freedom to pursue dreams long kept hidden in your heart.

There’s no better gift you can give to your children (young or grown)than creating so much joy IN YOUR OWN LIFE and pursuits so they don’t feel the pressure of fulfilling a role they were never called to fill.

It’s the PERFECT TIME to DREAM AGAIN!

It’s the PERFECT TIME to REAFFIRM YOUR God-given IDENTITY and PURPOSE!

Don’t forget that you’ve ALREADY accomplished SO MUCH!

Whatever you do now you’re not “starting from scratch” you’re starting from EXPERIENCE and WISDOM!

And that is SO VALUABLE!

You are MORE CONFIDENT!

MORE SURE OF YOURSELF!

MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT BRINGS YOU JOY AND WHAT DOESN’T!

You have the time and space to get still with the Lord and share with Him the dreams HE put in your heart years ago that you are now ready to pursue!

What an EXCITING time the empty nest season can be if you let it! I’d love to support you and be that person you share your dreams with and BELIEVE in YOU even before you believe in YOURSELF! Hit the Coach with Me link today! ~Be Blessed, Jenny xoxo

  1. Similar minds here. I’m 41 or a little older or younger. I don’t know when exactly I was born.

But I think it’ll be great when kids are their own bosses. I’ll be free to do more of what I love: write. I’ll have more time to spend with my wife.
