Don’t you just LOVE a new beginning? A fresh start? A new day, week, month, or year? We could so easily slide into the despair of “where did the summer go?” and “it’s already August?!” Or we can choose to see all the summer we have left and be even more determined to soak it all up and create opportunities to enjoy every last bit of it.
We get to decide, right? We all have the same 24 hours a day and 7 days in our weeks. God made it that way and one of my favorite coaches always says, “If God made it that way then it must be enough.” God said, “It was GOOD” so therefore it MUST be enough.
Let me ask you this…who do you want to be in this new month? You get to decide. Do you want to be more of who you were born to be? What type of environment, connections, relationships, work, service, and joy do you want to create for yourself?
You can take this new month and DREAM again! Maybe you had a dream that you laid down. Take this fresh start and pick it back up again. Even if you just start journaling about something or sketching out for yourself what it could look like. Ask the Lord to show you how to get the dream on the inside out. How to take a step that causes it to begin to come to LIFE! He is the One who plants dreams in us and BREATHES LIFE into them.
