When something seems unfixable, our brain will serve us thoughts like, “I’m done”, “it’s not worth it”, and, “I don’t care anymore”. My life coach says our brains are wired like a good detective to present evidence to support what we are believing, negative or positive. That’s why it’s our life-long habit to be renewing our minds with God’s truth because our natural man will always side with what our senses tell us. It’s how it was created to function. But Romans 12:2 says “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” There will be times when our spirit man needs to rise up to take its rightful place of dominance and use its God-given authority declaring the truth of the Word and resisting the lies of opposition. That’s when the power of God can manifest in our lives and we will be transformed! I challenge you this week to be alert to the thoughts your mind is choosing to think on. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you when those thoughts are not in line with God’s Word so you can take them captive and replace them with thoughts that will better serve you. Thoughts of TRUTH, VICTORY, PEACE, and LOVE! As you decide to change your thoughts, you’ll see your mood, your emotions, your feelings slowly begin to change until you are TRANSFORMED! ~Be Blessed, Jenny
