Faithfulness Positions You For Blessings

“A faithful man will abound in blessings.” -Proverbs 28:20

It is faithfulness that causes blessings to abound in our lives. Increasing work hours will not increase the blessing, but obedience to God’s plan and being faithful to it will. We are no longer left to live by the sweat of our brow, toiling in our own human efforts, limited by natural talents, abilities, or education. Those things can gain us a measure of financial provision, but nothing compares with what having the blessing of the Lord on our lives can bring us into. If you’re facing a need or a financial difficulty, the first thing you need to do is increase your intake of the Word, not your work hours, robbing you of time with your family and service to your church. Feeding and meditating on the Word is how we increase our faith and speaking and acting on that Word is how our faith is released! Work, jobs, and paychecks are all just avenues God can use to get provision to you, but they are not your provider! Obedience to God puts you in prime position for every bonus, promotion, and blessing!
