We make an appointment with a counselor or trusted mentor when we are seeking answers for our lives, right? Seeking counsel = seeking answers. This verse is saying that the answers we are needing are actually in our spirit man; in our hearts. But we must make the effort to dip down and draw it out. That means it will take spending some quality time with The Answer Giver, right? There is no real wisdom apart from Him. Need answers for your life? Trust that the Spirit has already deposited them into your spirit and ask Him to help you to draw them out. Ever stumble around in the dark of night, bumping into everything in your path? You realize how much easier it is to see when you simply turn on the light. So, ask God to show you. He will illuminate every dark corner and show you the way to turn next.
