We’ve Been Set Free From Creating Our Own Plan

God has already prepared a plan

Jesus set us free from so many things in our lives, sin, sickness, fear, poverty and lack, anxiety and depression, but He also set us free from ourselves. He set us free from having to create our own plan for our lives.

Ephesians 2:10 (AMP) “For we are God’s own handiwork (His workmanship) recreated in Christ Jesus (born anew) that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. Do you believe this? That God has already prepared a great plan for a good life for you? That’s His best and He wants to reveal it to you. He does not want to keep you in the dark about it! When you are unsure about that plan, use this scripture and put God in remembrance that He promised this to you.

God’s plan is the only plan that will truly satisfy us. Pray Ephesians 1 & 3 over yourself and pray much in other tongues. Proverbs 20:27 “The spirit of man is the candle/lamp of the Lord, searching all the innermost parts of his being.” God has placed the plan in our spirits. We must spend time drawing it out. Proverbs 20:5 “A plan in the heart of man is like deep water (or a deep well) but a man of understanding draws it out.” The answers and direction we are needing are in our spirit. What should I do when I grow up, where should I go to college, who should I marry, should I take that job?

1 John 2:20, 27 “But you have an anointing (unction, utterance) from the Holy One and you know all; the anointing which you received from Him abides in you(it will never leave you, it abides) and  you have no need for anyone to teach you, but His anointing teaches you about all things…” This is why it is so important to be filled with the Spirit and able to pray in other tongues. The devil can try to put thoughts in your mind, but he cannot touch your spirit. That place is already occupied by the Holy Spirit and we must get good at hearing God’s voice there.
