Are you qualified to help others when you are struggling, too?
I used to think I wasn’t qualified to help others if I was waiting to receive from God myself.
But then I read how Abraham prayed for Abimelech and his wife to conceive children, and they were healed, even while Sarah had not yet conceived.
I believe that God sees it as a sacrifice.
And while you are standing and believing for OTHERS to receive THEIR miracle, it does something to YOUR FAITH!
When you see that God is NO RESPECTER of PERSONS, you can confidently say, I’M NEXT!!!
What God has done for someone else, He can SURELY do for ME!
Your faith is encouraged when you are not jealous but THRILLED for another’s MIRACLE!
The enemy would love nothing more than serving you the thought that because YOUR relationships are not perfect you are somehow disqualified from encouraging others.
Or because like Abraham, your body is not yet functioning at peak performance, you are somehow disqualified from laying hands on others and BELIEVING WITH THEM for THEIR HEALING!
In fact, we are COMMANDED to in Mark 16.
It’s one of the last things Jesus told the disciples to do (and therefore us, because we are His disciples, too).
He didn’t say to only do it if you FEEL qualified.
It is a beautiful way to SERVE ONE ANOTHER!
I firmly believe that what YOU do for OTHERS, God WILL DO FOR YOU!
Keep pouring into others!
It will keep your focus OFF OF YOURSELF and ON GOD!
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM, OR YOU, WHEN YOU BELIEVE HE CAN AND IS WORKING MIGHTILY ON YOUR BEHALF!
