What Are You Looking At?

what are you looking at

2 Cor. 4:18 (AMP) “Since we consider and LOOK NOT to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.”

Whatever we keep in our line of vision is what will occupy our focus. But when we are in the middle of the fight, we cannot become so hyper-focused that we lose sight of the prize. The enemy would love to distract our attention from what we are believing for and keep us stuck, looking in awe at that giant in our life. But we must remember that it is only temporary, that means it is subject to change and not even worth our attention. We need to quit looking at it! Don’t be occupied with it! Don’t let that thing fill our conversations. Instead, we keep looking to what we do not yet see in the natural, that vision or dream the Lord has placed on the inside of us, which has not yet manifested but we know it is coming.
