Peace is a place, a posture, and position in Christ. It’s where Jesus made possible for us to rest. It’s not an earthly peace, but a supernatural one. It’s His peace He gave to us. The very same peace that He was clothed in and covered with when He walked the earth, passing through angry mobs who had fists full of stones. The Bible says that that kind of peace will guard our hearts and minds, too. It is a very real force that will build a fortress around our minds which may be bombarded with worries and our hearts which may feel anxious and as we keep our thoughts on Him, He can keep our minds in perfect peace. So, refuse to let anything less than peace have a place in you. If you’ve put it in His hands by prayer, then just rest because you can trust Him to be working on it.
