Made Any Faith Transactions?

1 John 5:14, 15 “and this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask ANYTHING according to His will (which is His Word) He hears us, And if we know that He hears us, in whatever we ask, we KNOW that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.” *parenthesis mine* So, this tells us that we can have confidence in our prayers when we have prayed according to God’s will, which is His Word. Thus it is vital to know the Word or we will have no basis for our faith. So, when we talk in line with God’s Word HE HEARS US! Our God hears us! Your heart has the ability to believe that what is invisible is yours! Our minds can’t do that, but our heart can! Faith is conducted with our hearts, not our heads. If you prayed and did not receive, you need to go back and feed yourself on whatever promise you are believing until you are asking in faith. Once you know you’ve prayed in faith, you know it’s on the way and you can enter into thanksgiving! He is essentially authorizing us to rejoice and rest, knowing it’s coming. Isn’t He so good to us! He authorizes us to act like His Word is so, because it is! No matter how you feel or what the situation looks like, continue in thanksgiving and you keep that seed firmly planted and you will reap a harvest! When you put something in your shopping cart at Amazon, click complete purchase and you get that confirmation email that it’s on the way, even though you don’t have it yet in your hands, you know it’s yours and you even talk about it! You tell everybody, “I just got such and such!” Because it’s on the way, right? God has given us permission to do the same. When we pray according to the Word and release our faith, we have in a sense made a spiritual transaction! And the more we confess and talk about and thank Him for it, the faster it can move to us. It’s on the way!
