God recorded His thoughts for us so we could HAVE and SPEAK His thoughts! Isaiah 55:8,9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Neither are My ways your ways” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” This passage of scripture was speaking to the world, those who didn’t yet have Jesus dwelling in them through the Holy Spirit. But we now can have the mind of Christ according to 1 Cor. 2:16! And Romans 12:2 tells us that we must be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
What is the “renewing of our minds”? It’s taking on God’s thoughts! Taking the things you used to think about and REPLACING those thoughts with what God’s Word says. His Word is HIGHER than any situation we may be facing and when we find out what His Word says about it, we are authorized to change what we think, believe and say! He wrote His Word down for us so we could KNOW it and SPEAK it! Then His power can CHANGE, MOVE, ALTER, DESTROY, PROPEL, RESTORE or DO whatever you are needing it to do!
