How I know God Doesn’t Take our Loved Ones

The thought that “God took my loved one” is a subtle attempt of the enemy to bring you a thought error that could cause you in your time of grief to pull away from God and His comfort instead of pressing into Him! I think some may feel a false sense of peace because they think saying that it means God was somehow in control of that and believing someone outside of them is in control somehow comforts them. But you are actually accusing God of something He is not capable of and putting Him in the same category as Satan. And what child wants to be close to a father who gives him something wonderful and then steals it away from him? That is why Jesus Himself identified for us that it is always the ENEMY who “comes to STEAL, KILL, and DESTROY” but He revealed the truth that “I have come to give you LIFE and LIFE MORE ABUNDANT!”

We must ALWAYS and FOREVER make the Word of God our firm foundation for everything we believe in this life. If we have a thought error, it’s only because we do not yet know the truth of the Word. We are always to be learning and growing into the fullness of the stature of Christ. He IS the Word, right? So, we should ever be growing in the knowledge AND revelation that the Word brings to our lives.

God made the answer to a thousand questions available to us and He has no problem with His children going to Him with their questions and doubts. In fact, He encourages it. Because His TRUTH is LIGHT and will shine brightly on the places of confusion that are shrouded in darkness.

So, that way when we are tempted to say, “Why God?” we can be assured that God IS LIFE and GOODNESS, because “Every GOOD and PERFECT GIFT, comes down from the Father of Light, in whom there can be NO VARIANCE or SHADOW of turning!” (James 1:17 ) and “He is the SAME, yesterday, today, and FOREVER!” (Hebrews 13:8). God can NEVER do anything that goes against His own Word. It is FOREVER upheld.

We can be assured that God RECEIVES HIS OWN, but there is NOWHERE in the Word that says that He has ever taken ANYONE to heaven in death! Even Enoch and Elijah were TAKEN up ALIVE!

We are living on the earth that is currently in a fallen state, where Satan has a legal right to be here and where there is death and corruption and results of the death nature that was unleashed when Adam sinned. But the truth is that Jesus REDEEMED the children of God from being subject to this earthly system and He gave US the keys of authority He took back from the devil when He conquered hell and made a show of him openly! (Col. 2:15)

If someone goes to heaven via sickness or an untimely accident, that is NEVER God’s will or His best! Because in Psalm 91 the entire chapter speaks of God’s will to protect us and in verse 16 it says “with LONG LIFE I WILL SATISFY him and let him behold My SALVATION.” The word salvation there is from Hebrew #3444 (Yeshuwah) which is translated: as deliverance, aid, victory, prosperity, health, help, welfare, and SAVING HEALTH. God’s will is that we enjoy a long life and experience all Jesus provided at the cross, which includes freedom from sickness.

So, even though the Word says that “precious (important and no light matter)in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (His loving ones).” (Psalm 116:15 AMPC), does not mean that He WANTS or NEEDS them before their time. In fact, they can do MORE for God by staying on the earth, completing their mission, and finishing their course.

Think for a moment about the difference you feel inside when you hear of someone who lived very long on the earth, like 90-100 years and they knew the Lord and passed peacefully in their sleep without pain or sickness in comparison to how you feel robbed and devastated when someone goes home in a destructive nature or at a very young age. The reason you feel much more devastated by the latter is because you KNOW deep down that it is NOT RIGHT or GOOD.

This may seem so foreign of thought shift to you, but I promise if you open up your mind and heart to ask God to reveal this truth to your spirit, you will be FREE from thoughts that are widely accepted, even in the Body of Christ, and sound “good” but are sent to cause you to shipwreck your faith in God and His goodness toward your life and the lives of His children ❤️ Because we cannot receive by faith from Him all that He provided if we don’t know long life and freedom from sickness belongs to us! ~Be Blessed, Jenny xoxo
