We cannot look back and forward at the same time. We all have a past, even if it’s just yesterday. Some things in our past were things we are ready to forget and some were good things we enjoyed, but both are things we cannot focus on if we are to move forward. God is wanting to do something NEW, but it takes our cooperation to move with the leading of His Spirit. The life of faith is one that is always reaching for more and moving into the new. Pray this prayer with me today: Lord, I thank you for all that you’ve taught me in the past and I commit to moving forward into the new with You. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would lead me and guide me and show me things to come; so, I purpose to listen to Your voice and I declare that I HAVE a leading today and I will know what steps to take, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
