Pepperoni Bread: An Easy Super Bowl Sunday Crowd-pleaser

Super easy crowd-pleaser to bring to a Super Bowl party or any gathering!

Sharing today so you have all week to procure your favorite ingredients 🥖🙂

This pairs perfectly with any chili or soup as an extra special bread, paired with warm sauce for dipping, or as a stand-alone appetizer.

1. Prepare your favorite bread dough…I usually buy the premade frozen dough and let it rise overnight. (When covering frozen dough to rise, coat with olive oil so the plastic wrap doesn’t stick)

2. Roll out dough onto a lightly floured surface.

3. Spread a thin layer of olive oil over the entire dough.

4. Cover the entire thing with sandwich-sized thin pepperonis, (I prefer the uncured type or prepare beforehand your favorite sausage which has been removed from casings and completely cooked)

5. Sprinkle mozzarella and then grated Parmesan or pecorino Romano cheese to generously cover.

6. Sprinkle your favorite Italian spices (I like garlic powder, plenty of oregano, or mixed Italian dried herbs)

7. Carefully roll the dough into a long baguette.

8. Coat the top with a little bit more olive oil then with a bit of cheese and spices if you like.

9. Bake in oven at 375° for 20-25 minutes.

10. Slice and taste test to make sure it’s okay for everyone else 😉
