Do You Want to Start the New Year a Little Bit Healthier?

These are a few of my FAVORITE NON-TOXIC CLEANING PRODUCTS that I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT!

Over the years I have slowly been clearing my house of toxic chemicals; from foods to fragrances to cleaning supplies that are filled with substances that disrupt the health of our hormones and airways.

1. The PUR STEAM 10-in-1 Steam Mop – I purchased this on Amazon about 5 years ago for less than a hundred bucks and it has paid for itself! There are so many out there, so the name brand doesn’t really matter. What I LOVE about this product is you can use it on floors, carpets, furniture, showers, grout, sinks, wood, tile, glass, plastic, etc… WITHOUT anything other than WATER! The only downside to my particular model is the short cord which I remedied with an extension cord

2. NORWEX – pictured are a couple of my favorite cloths, but they sell SO MUCH MORE! Everything from home products to laundry detergent to personal hygiene products. Ever dry your hands on a towel that just smells funky? What is that? It’s bacteria growing on a damp surface. These towels DO NOT SMELL because woven within their dense microfiber weave are pure SILVER strands which are naturally antimicrobial. This is why in ancient times the kings and queens drank out of silver goblets because scientists discovered they kept them healthier. I keep one in my car for my foggy windshield and in my purse for when traveling to a hotel and I wipe down EVERYTHING from light switches to remote controls. I once went to a NORWEX party and saw an experiment where the Norwex rep put raw chicken on my friend’s counter in two places (EEEWWW!) wiped one with a traditional chemical cleaner and paper towel, and the other with just a NORWEX cloth and WATER and then used a restaurant sanitizer test kit and the chemical cleaner spot still showed positive for food poisoning bacteria and the NORWEX side showed NOTHING!!! Then tested the cloth and NOTHING! Needless to say, I WAS SOLD! And, no, I am not a rep, but you can look online for one near you!

3. THIEVES ESSENTIAL OIL & WATER SPRAY– This brand is Young Living but choose whatever brand you like. This concentrate lasts FOREVER as it only takes a couple cap-fulls and the rest WATER in a spray bottle to make the yummiest, cleanest smelling counter and surface spray that is safe to use around children and pets. Naturally derived and plant-based to lift dirt, stains, and smells. I LOVE me some yummy cinnamon-y, clove-y, autumn spicy scents!

DON’T GET OVERWHELMED trying to change EVERYTHING at once. Start SMALL with little everyday changes to YOUR HEALTH and to creating a HEALTHIER HOME for those you LOVE.
