If we desire a great awakening for our world, for our nation, for our church, then WE must become awakened OURSELVES and AWAKENING begins with an ENCOUNTER!
“Blessed are those who HUNGER and THIRST after righteousness: for they SHALL BE FILLED!” Matt. 5:6
So, this verse is teaching us that the FILLING is reserved for the HUNGRY and THIRSTY!
Do we want to experience God’s FILLING? God’s supernatural grace and empowerment? To be truly AWAKENED unto Him and His PRESENCE and His POWER in our lives?
Then it’s up to us, not Him, to do what it takes to position ourselves for an ENCOUNTER with Him.
To set aside natural things at times in order to PRESS IN TO HIM!
To have a heart that drives us to CONTEND for nothing less than an encounter with Him.
For it’s only in THAT PLACE that we will be filled up and strengthened to GO YE THEREFORE into our world so that others can encounter Him THROUGH us!
As you stir yourself up today, remember that the filling is never just for you. God needs your hands, your heart, and your voice, to pour out onto others so He can meet THEIR needs through YOU!
Do what it takes to have an encounter every single day so that you can be ready, or as the Bible says, “instant in season.” To be a vessel fit for the Master’s use! What an honor for Him to partner with US!
He’s ALWAYS ready to have an ENCOUNTER with us! May we awaken ourselves with greater awareness and hunger after His presence.
