I’m about to kick a “Sacred Cow” but here goes…
Anything we try to ADD to the purity of the Gospel will TAINT it! It needs NOTHING ELSE! We don’t need to add “horoscopes”,“manifesting”, “law of attraction”, “meditation”, or the “Enneagram”. It’s God and HIS WORD ALONE that changes people’s lives and SETS THEM FREE!
Too much of this worldly mindset has crept into the church and is shipwrecking many believers’ faith.
I keep reading things like “TRUST YOURSELF, YOU’VE GOT THIS!”
NO! TRUST GOD!
Because there’s nothing new under the sun. It’s the same subtle deception that the enemy has used since the garden…trying to gain wisdom OUTSIDE of what God has made available in abundance!
Always ask yourself, “What does God’s Word say about this situation in my life?” Then FEED YOUR FAITH ON THAT, DECLARE ONLY THAT, and put your trust in HIM ALONE!
Anything outside of this is in the realm of darkness. Because God’s Word is TRUTH & LIGHT. There is a difference between “worldly knowledge” (which can sometimes be useful) and Godly WISDOM.
Seek His wisdom.
We have a real enemy who is after our kids’ true identity with a vengeance because he knows his lease is almost up. Young people are watching how we conduct ourselves. Be an example who knows what’s what and who understands their God-given authority! People around you are counting on you to LEAD THEM INTO LIGHT! Our God is a jealous God Who will not take the second seat to anything else in our lives. He must be first! We don’t need to add anything to the Gospel! He is MORE THAN ENOUGH!
